BEAVERCREEK — Three area residents received their instrument rating and private pilot certificates.

Robert Latta III of Beavercreek earned his instrument rating on Jan. 19. To obtain his Instrument Rating, Latta completed the Instrument Rating ground school and flight training at MacAir Aviation, a Part 141 flight school at Greene County Airport.

After completing his course work, he passed the written Federal Aviation Administration test at the CATS Testing Center at Greene County Airport. The final step in accomplishing his Instrument Rating was an oral and flight examination with a FAA designated flight examiner.

David Reynolds of Springfield earned his private pilot certificate on Feb. 3. To obtain his private pilot certificate, Reynolds completed the private pilot ground school and flight training at MacAir Aviation. After completing his course work, he passed the written Federal Aviation Administration test at the CATS Testing Center at the airport. The final step in accomplishing his private pilot certificate was an oral and flight examination with a FAA designated flight examiner.

James Hardwick of Dayton earned his private pilot certificate on Feb. 7. After completing his course work, he passed the written test at the CATS Testing Center at Greene County Airport. The final step in was an oral and flight examination with a FAA designated flight examiner.
