BEAVERCREEK – Day Air Credit Union (DACU) announces, after ratification from Countywide membership, it has finalized a merger with Countywide Federal Credit Union (CFCU) in Beavercreek. This merger is approved by the National Credit Union Foundation and will be effective as of the close of business on Jan. 31.

As a result, Day Air Credit Union will have six full-service banking locations in the Dayton area; in Kettering, Centerville, Butler Township, on the Dayton VA Hospital campus, on the University of Dayton campus and now on Dayton-Xenia Road in Beavercreek.

“We are thrilled to announce this merger,” said William Burke, Day Air President and CEO. “Day Air and Countywide have a shared commitment to helping our member-owners achieve financial success. Not only will Countywide’s 1,700 members now have more branches to choose from, they will also enjoy enhanced access through mobile products and vast array of services. All Countywide Federal Credit Union member-owners are now part of the Day Air family and they can expect to be treated as such.”

This agreement solidifies Day Air Credit Union’s position as one of the largest, and the fastest growing, credit unions in the Dayton area with more than $318,000,000 in assets and serving over 37,000 members.

Day Air expects that the data conversion for all Countywide Federal Credit Union members to the Day Air Credit Union system will be complete by April 1, 2016.
