Go Red Walk

BEAVERCREEK — The Go Red for Women 2 Mile Run/Walk will take place 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at The Greene, 4452 Buckeye Lane. Proceeds go to the American Heart Association. Cost $25 to register, http://greenegoesred.itsyourrace.com/event.aspx?id=4939.

Trail walk

BEAVERCREEK — Join the Beavercreek Wetlands Association for a hike to explore the Beavercreek Nature Preserve and Phillips Park at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26. Dress for the weather. This trail is usually good for birding so bring binoculars, if you have them. The trail is easy but we may encounter standing water, mud or ice. Auxiliary pancake breakfast

BEAVERCREEK TOWNSHIP — Eat amongst the fire trucks and firefighters 8-11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 26 at the Fire Station #1, 2195 Dayton Xenia Road. Drop by anytime between those hours for a great pancake and sausage breakfast. Orange juice and coffee are included. Tickets are being sold at the door $6 for adults and $4 for seniors citizens and children under 12. All ticket sales goes to Day of Caring 365 to help people in need in the area.

Church to host meal packing

BEAVERCREEK — Patterson Park Church in Beavercreek is hosting a meal packing event to feed orphans in Haiti from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 1. through the organization, A Child’s Hope International. For more information visit www.thechildrenarewaiting.org/portfolio/hands-against-hunger/. The goal is to raise $30,000 for this event and $25,000 has already been raised in the last four months.
