GREENE COUNTY — The Xenia Daily Gazette, Fairborn Daily Herald and Beavercreek News-Current outdoor writer Larry Moore of Jamestown won seven awards during the annual Outdoor Writers of Ohio Awards on May 6.

Moore has been an outdoor writer for Greene County Newspapers for more than 18 years.

He recevied first place for Best Color Photo of his first steelhead, second place on Newspaper Special for Behind the Scenes at Airstream, third place Best How to Keep Our Rivers Scenic, third place Best Newspaper Article “A Beagle Love Affair, overall Honorable Mention for best newspaper article and Honorable Mention for Environmental Writing.
