Xenia pastor auditions for American Ninja Warrior TV show

Ken Winter, the current Family Ministries Associate Pastor at Dayton Ave. Baptist Church in Xenia, was recently chosen as one of 500 athletes to audition for NBC’s American Ninja Warrior television show.

Last week, Winter traveled to Pittsburgh, Pa. to run the Ninja Warrior course. Should he qualify high enough to make it through the Pittsburgh qualifier, the Cedarville University alum and former Yellow Jackets men’s soccer coach would then compete in the city finals. If Winter gets through the city finals, he’ll compete in Las Vegas as part of the national finals this summer.

Winter is not allowed to reveal the results of his competition until the show airs in the summer.
