FAIRBORN — Wright State University swimmer Mitch Stover competed Monday in the 100 back at the US Olympic Qualifying Meet in Omaha and the 200 IM on June 30.

Though he did not make the time in either, his time of 57.50 moved him up almost 50 spots overall. He placed fifth in his preliminary heat at 2:06.33 in the 200 IM, finishing 64th overall.

Raider alumni Kile Aukerman also is in action in Omaha. Sunday, he improved his best time in 100 breast to 1:03.00. He also cometed in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.69. Gernerally, only 10 percent of swimmers at this qualifier improve their times as he placed 61st of 139 in the 100 breast.

Estimated start time for Stover’s next preliminary event.
