BEAVERCREEK — A Cincinnati-based, sports-bar style restaurant chain which caters to families is eying an expansion to Beavercreek.

While Buffalo Wings & Rings Chief Development Officer Philip Schram said the company is about two-and-a-half years away from opening a location in Beavercreek, he said the company is “very serious” about bringing a franchise location there.

Schram estimated that it would take about a year to go through the company’s process of finding a franchisee and an additional year and a half to find a location for one of the company’s 6,000-square-foot restaurants.

According to Schram, Buffalo Wings & Rings is set apart from other similar restaurants through its brand.

“We buy superior ingredients,” he said. “We cook them to order. There is almost no frozen product.”

He also added that the restaurant has a family-focused atmosphere.

Schram said the company has almost saturated the greater Cincinnati market and is looking to expand toward Dayton.

“[Beavercreek is] a very good area with a lot of families and a lot of activities,” Schram said. “It’s a clear market which is identified where we want to be.”

A Beavercreek restaurant would be the chain’s second store in the Dayton area, after the business’s Centerville location.

Schram estimated that a new store would typically create about 40 jobs.
