BEAVERCREEK — Beavercreek High School will graduate 581 in its Class of 2016 Saturday at Wright State University. Graduation will take place 9 a.m. at the Nutter Center.

Of those graduating 347 students plan to attend a four-year college, 117 a two-year college.

This year valedictorians earned 4.7 GPA include: Richard Huang, Dennis Li, Roselle Bea P. Almazan and Lamia Himed.

The class salutitorians earned a 4.6 GPA include: Mitchell Via, Erika Nguyen, Molly MacLeod, Allye Camden, Lindsay Kreill, Chad Brunswick, Saima Wase and Hannah Nelson.

Richard Huang received the 2016 U.S. Presidential Scholar, 2016 National Merit Finalist, 2016 Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award and will attend Princeton University. Dennis Li is a member of National Honor Society, received 2016 National Merit Scholarship, was a member of the BHS Swim Team Captain and will attend Georgia Tech to study computer science.

Roselle Bea P. Almazan is a member of National Honor Society, BHS Girls Tennis Team captain and will attend Wright State University majoring in biology. Lamia Himed will attend Wright State University to study neuroscience and pre-med.

Mitchell Via is a member of National Honor Society and will attend Ohio State University. Erika Nguyen will attend University of Cincinnati and major in medical sciences. Molly MacLeod will attend University of Cincinnati to study biochemistry and pre-med. Allye Camden will attend Wright State University to major in nursing.

Lindsay Kreill will attend Wheaton College (MA). Chad Brunswick is a member of National Honor Society, 2016 National Merit Finalist and will attend University of Cincinnati. Saima Wase will attend Kent State University for concentrated six-year medical program. Hannah Nelson is a 2016 National Merit Scholar, BHS Drum Major and will attend Ohio State University to major in English.
