XENIA — Two Greene County schools moved up in the state AP football polls released this week.
Greeneview moved up three spots to No. 6 in the newest Division V poll following Week Seven. Xenia is up one spot to seventh in the D-II poll as well.
The Rams are coming off a 33-0 win over Southeastern to improve to 7-0 this season. Greeneview gained nine additional voting points and maintained its one first place vote. The Rams have beaten two other teams this season, Waynesville and West Liberty Salem, which are both appearing in the receiving votes section of the D-V poll.
Xenia received five additional voting points this week to comfortable be ahead of the teams ranked below them. The Buccaneers, now 7-0 this season after beating Troy 21-18 on Friday, have been receiving one first place vote in each poll released this season.
Bellbrook also stayed at 14th to appear in the receiving votes section of the D-III poll for the fourth straight week. The Golden Eagles have won six straight games with its only defeat coming to fourth-ranked Tippecanoe.

Week 8 computer rankings unveiled
Six Greene County football teams would make the playoffs if they started this week, according to the weekly football computer ratings released by the OHSAA.
Bellbrook, Greeneview and Xenia would all be top-3 seeds in their respective divisions and are currently in position to get at least one home game. Beavercreek, Carroll and Cedarville are all in the top 16 entering this week with work to do to remain in contention.
Seeds 1-4 would be considered hosts for both of the first two rounds of the postseason. Seeds 5-8 are only assured of hosting a first round game, while teams ranked 9-16 all play on the road in round one.
